| given the low price, huge quantities sold with no obvious durability issues and positive feedback we've seen. Maybe we're at a point where HID technology is mature enough to bring the cost down, but certain vendors are trying to hold their prices high as long as possible to milk it to the last drop? I still can't believe you can pick up a Panasonic 42" Plasma TV for under $1k, weren't those $12k only 2 or 3 years ago?
